چکیده
We study the non-extensive Tsallis statistics and its applications to QCD high energy physics, analyze possible connections of this with a fractal structure hadrons. Then, we describe how scaling properties Yang-Mills theories allow appearance self-similar structures in gauge fields, which actually behave as fractals. The entropic index, q, is deduced terms field theory parameters, resulting good agreement value obtained experimentally.

Chaos, Fractals and Statistics
We review a wide variety of applications in different branches of sciences arising from the study of dynamical systems. The emergence of chaos and fractals from iterations of simple difference equations is discussed. Notions of phase gpace, contractive mapping, attractor, invariant density and the relevance of ergodic theory for studying dynamical systems are reviewed. Various concepts of dimen...
متن کاملCritical fluctuations, intermittent dynamics and Tsallis statistics
It is pointed out that the dynamics of the order parameter at a thermal critical point obeys the precepts of the nonextensive Tsallis statistics. We arrive at this conclusion by putting together two welldefined statistical-mechanical developments. The first is that critical fluctuations are correctly described by the dynamics of an intermittent nonlinear map. The second is that intermittency in...
متن کاملAstrophysical thermonuclear functions for Boltzmann-Gibbs statistics and Tsallis statistics
One of the first applications of Gamow’s theory of quantum mechanical potential barrier penetration to other than his analysis of alpha radioactivity was in the field of thermonuclear astrophysics [1,2]. Atkinson and Houtermans proposed that the source of energy released by stars lay in thermonuclear reactions taking place near their centres where the motion of nuclei was supposed to be in ther...
متن کاملQuasicanonical Gibbs distribution and Tsallis nonextensive statistics
We derive and study quasicanonical Gibbs distribution function which is characterized by the thermostat with finite number of particles (quasithermostat). We show that this naturally leads to Tsallis nonextensive statistics and thermodynamics, with Tsallis parameter q is found to be related to the number of particles in the quasither-mostat. We show that the chi-square distribution of fluctuati...
متن کاملGravitational Instability and Tsallis ’ Nonextensive Statistics
The concept of Jeans gravitational instability is rediscussed in the framework of the nonextensive statistics proposed by Tsallis. A simple analytical formula generalizing the Jeans criterion is derived by assuming that the un-perturbed self-gravitating collisionless gas is described by the q-parametrized class of nonextensive velocity distribution. It is shown that the critical values of wavel...
